John Clem heads north to investigate the disappearance of his estranged father. Upon arriving at the family cottage, John feels a sense of home; something he hasn’t felt since he was a child. Running into Avery, played by Ray Wise (Twin Peaks, Reaper), a colleague of his father’s, he receives no help on his dad’s disappearance, but instead a new set of eyes in which to view the living world around him.
