Gerry Lattmann – Producer
As Senior Producer of the Dot Film Company, Gerry Lattmann oversees development, financing and production. The company’s founding project, The Putting Edge, an 8-minute short comedy was fully funded through the Corus Young Filmmakers Initiative, in association with the CFTPA. The film broadcast on YTV in 2005 and is currently being distributed by Big Film Shorts.

Pria, The Dot Film Company’s second and most notable short film, was produced in association with CBC’s Mix Flicks program and was later aired on CBC’s ZeD Program. Pria won the 1st Place Platinum Remi Award for Best Short Film within the Romantic Comedy category at WorldFest Houston 2005 and was also screened at the World Wide Short Film Festival in Toronto (2005) and the Yorkton Short Film and Video Festival (2005) where it was nominated for a Golden Sheaf Award. Pria continues to receive accolades across North America.

Gerry has also assisted with the production of Timeblazers, a children’s television show created and produced by Coneybeare Stories and CCI Entertainment, currently airing on Discovery Kids. Most recently, Gerry and associates have begun post-production on The Dot Film Company’s debut feature film Things To Do.  Shot on Super 16mm, this comedic drama was fully financed through private equity.

Gerry holds an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He later received an education from Sheridan College’s Post Graduate Advanced Television and Film Program. 

Theodore Bezaire – Director & Co-Writer
Theodore Bezaire, a dual American and Canadian citizen is a founding member of The Dot Film Company. Functioning mainly as a Writer and Director, Theodore also possesses a thorough understanding of film theory, producing, editing and sound design.

Stamps, Theodore’s 10-minute family drama that incorporated both live action and animation premiered at the Viewfinders International Film Festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Theodore then received $25,000 from the CFTPA and Corus Entertainment to write, direct and produce an 8-minute “mini-golf” comedy entitled The Putting Edge, which was broadcast on YTV in the summer of 2005. To follow up, Theodore directed Pria, a 12-minute comedy about the insecurities of a fifteen-year-old South Asian girl for the CBC. Pria recently won the “Student’s Choice Award” at Sprockets Film Festival For Children (TIFF) and the Platinum Remi award for Best Short Film at WorldFest Houston.  Theodore’s most recent project is his feature film debut Things To Do, which he co-wrote and directed.  Things To Do had its premiere at the 2006 Slamdance Film Festival where all of its screenings were sold out.

Theodore holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University Of Windsor, Ontario. He also attended the highly competitive Post Graduate Advanced Television and Film Program at Sheridan College, located just outside of Toronto.

 

Mike Stasko – Actor (Adam) & Co-Writer
Mike Stasko has worked closely with The Dot Film Company since its inception. He has also worked as a cameraman for many television shows including Inside the AHL, Beer TV, and Summit of Life.  Mike then held the position of Head Writer and Producer for YTV’s Video and Arcade Top 10, Canada’s longest running and most watched kids television show.  During this time Mike also worked as a Segment Producer for Toronto One’s Let’s Build: A Consumer’s Guide, producing thirteen segments in all. 

After completing his 26-episode commitment with YTV, Mike moved to New York City where he is currently completing a Master’s of Fine Art in Film at Columbia University with a dual concentration in Directing and Writing.  During his time at Columbia, Mike has been awarded two distinct Fellowship positions in recognition of his academic and professional achievements, and he also teaches a workshop in Sound Design. 

Mike is currently in advanced development on his new children’s show Kids On The Job. More recently, Mike has co-written, associate produced, edited and starred in Things To Do, The Dot Film Company’s debut feature film. 

Mike holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Windsorand a Post-Graduate diploma in Advance Television and Film from Sheridan College.

Daniel Wilson – Actor (Mac)
Daniel began his working relationship with the Dot Film Company while attending the Advanced Television and Film program at Sheridan College. He studied editing and screenwriting, whilst pursuing his acting interests. He made his first on-camera appearance in Mike Stasko’s The Show. He followed up with a role in Theodore Bezaire’s The Putting Edge. Thereafter, Daniel set off to work in a number of editing positions, first in Toronto on the Avi Lewis documentary The Take, and then in Tokyo and Los Angeles. Most recently, he held the position of post-production supervisor for Eyeboogie Inc.

To further his acting interests he has appeared in a number of independent productions, including the self-written and directed film The Wrong Side Of Twenty shot on location in Mexico in 2004. He followed up by appearing as the supporting lead in the film Things to Do.

Daniel is currently enrolled in a Master’s Art & Technology programme in Sweden.
